Inside Sales Executive – Cambridge

Are you a German Speaking Sales Executive? Do you thrive on building positive relationships with clients?

Working for this global leader in their field, you will be responsible for growing revenue by generating a sales pipeline with new and existing customers. This role will focus on development of DACH, Nordics and Eastern Europe territories, working closely with local distribution and reseller partners.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Executive: 

  • Identify & research target accounts for the business product range. Carry out high quality prospecting of senior executives via telephone, e-mail & social platforms (such as LinkedIn) to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing to execute prospecting activities & promotion around new product launches, events and initiatives.
  • Qualify & progress new sales opportunities, following up on leads generated through marketing campaigns. Manage & maintain a pipeline of prospects & sales opportunities.
  • Ensure that all quotations and partner referrals are followed through to purchase order. Manage renewals of existing Professional Services contracts.
  • Understand customer needs to correctly specify products from the business range.
  • Host face-to-face customer meetings at events and visiting reseller sales floors. 

What you will need to succeed as Inside Sales Executive: 

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to succeed in technology sales and advance to field sales roles.
  • Proven experience working in a B2B sales environment.
  • The ability to gain prospects attention through unique & insightful contact using telephone, e-mail & other communication tools.
  • Demonstrate the confidence, persistence & curiosity required for sales development.
  • Extremely organised and capable of prioritising/managing your time effectively.
  • Fully utilise CRM and other technology tools to maximise effectiveness.
  • A positive team player with excellent communication skills & telephone presence.
  • Self-motivated, being able to work on your own and willing to stretch beyond office hours from time to time.
  • German speaking (essential)
