Sales Manager – Wimbledon

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000p.a

Hours of work: Full time office based.

Kameo Recruitment is partnering with a dynamic and rapidly expanding events business, based in Wimbledon, to recruit for a Sales Manager. The role is to manage all efforts of the sales team for specific events. Managing a team of 3 people, you will report to the Group Head of Sales and the Event Director to ensure the team consistently delivers and help to strategically plan and launch new areas of a show.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:

  • Own and hit/exceed personal and team annual sales targets.
  • Develop and execute sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
  • Meeting prospective clients and existing key accounts face to face.
  • Attending competitor events around the world.

Requirements & Skills of the Sales Manager: 

  • Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors.
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, leading a team and mentoring newer members of a team.
  • Demonstrable experience of dealing with more experienced members of your team.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
