Salary: £40,000 – £45,000p.a

Kameo Recruitment is partnering with a dynamic and rapidly expanding events business, based in Wimbledon, to recruit for a Sales Manager. The role is to manage all efforts of the sales team for specific events. Managing a team of 3 people, you will report to the Group Head of Sales and the Event Director to ensure the team consistently delivers and help to strategically plan and launch new areas of a show.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:
- Own and hit/exceed personal and team annual sales targets.
- Develop and execute sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
- Meeting prospective clients and existing key accounts face to face.
- Attending competitor events around the world.
Requirements & Skills of the Sales Manager:
- Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
- Previous experience as a senior commercial manager, sales manager or sales director.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
- Proven ability to position products against competitors.
- Demonstrable experience as head of sales, leading a team and mentoring newer members of a team.
- Demonstrable experience of dealing with more experienced members of your team.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
