Kameo Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a private practice in Cambridge to recruit a Receptionist / Administrator, with strong communication skills and a background in customer services. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, so a professional and friendly manner is essential.

Due to exciting expansion plans my client is recruiting two additional Receptionist / Administrators to join an already established team of 10 people.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Receptionist / Administrator

  • Welcome all patients and visitors in a consistently polite manner, dealing with enquiries in person as well as via phone/email, being strictly aware of confidentiality/data protection
  • Book appropriate appointments, handling payments, maintaining records, ensuring all relevant forms are completed
  • Proactively deal with complaints in line with company policy
  • Ensure reception area is kept tidy and free from hazards, reporting any problems to management team immediately
  • Assist with the compiling of reports/records on practice performance, being aware of company policies/procedures

Requirements for this role

  • Excellent customer care and communication skills, with an ability to communicate at all levels, working as part of a team.
  • Interested in candidates with a strong customer services background in office / retail / hospitality / hotel / beauty etc.
  • Able to deliver clear and accurate information
  • Ability to use MS Office
  • A good eye for detail and a desire to take responsibility

Ideally the candidates would need to have their own transport as on occasions you will be working in 2 sites

Please note the hours

  • 36 hours per week over 4 long days
  • Earliest you will start is 7.45am and the latest is 6.15pm with an hour for lunch. This is done on a rota basis and is normally based on a 9-hour day.
  • working 1 in 4 Saturdays
