Kameo Recruitment is partnering with a widely recognised, leading manufacturing company based in Cambridge, to recruit for a Marketing Analyst. Due to an exciting phase of growth, you will join the Commercial Development Team and will be responsible for supporting the Marketing and Sales teams with lead generation and data analysis, to identify and develop potential growth areas.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Marketing Analyst
- Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to managers in collaboration with relevant cross-functional teams.
- Deliver financial reporting that communicates the trends and challenges facing the business to drive performance forward.
- Manage the integrity of customer and product data within CRM /ERP platforms.
- Linking of data sets from different sources including third parties.
- Identify opportunities within strategic growth markets and produce Sales leads within these areas.
- Create reporting and monitor results of lead generation activities.
- Supply commercial analysis data to support areas for growth by working with the product / marketing and sales teams.
- Support Channel Management of Distributors with insights into trends and opportunities by customer.
- Represent BI within key projects to ensure data & reporting requirements are fully outlined for projects that impact our ability to support our stakeholders.
- Coordinate analysis of data from multiple sources to create pricing strategies.
- Identify target customers for Sales and Marketing interaction.
- Measure sales & marketing results in collaboration with other teams to build more robust campaigns.
- Ad hoc projects to support the development of the business.
Skills & Requirements for the Marketing Analyst
- Understanding of commercial issues impacting the Commercial function.
- Proficiency with data analytics and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, SQL).
- Proven ability to break down problems, test hypotheses, and produce recommendations based on a range of quantitative and qualitative data.
- Highly motivated – capable of independently delivering projects to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, including the presentation (oral and verbal) of complex business situations for multiple stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot analysis efficiently.
- Team player who is happy to get involved in a range of activities as required.
