Salary: £19,760 p.a.
Hours of work: 40 hours per week (5 days out of 7 including evenings and weekends)
Kameo Recruitment is recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join a homely pub in Central Cambridge, just a short walk from the River Cam. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards and ensuring a smooth-running kitchen, so the ideal candidate will be reliable, and enthusiastic about developing a career in hospitality. If you are keen to work in a fast-paced kitchen, in a varied role, then our client will be eager to speak to you!
Duties & Responsibilities
- Basic food preparation
- Washing up and cleaning kitchen areas
- Unloading deliveries, emptying bins, and cleaning the floors
- Ensuring equipment is clean and tidied away
- Deep cleaning, including deep cleaning fridges, constantly maintaining kitchen safety standards
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player, confident in supporting the team to deliver the best possible service
