Hours of work: Full time, 39 hours per week

Kameo Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a global, leading manufacturing company based in Ely, to recruit an Inventory Control Team Leader. The successful candidate will be contributing to the receiving and monitoring of inventory, to meet demand forecasts and financial objectives. You will be managing two teams serving the materials handling team and the packing team, so it is essential that you are a team player with excellent leadership skills.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Inventory Control Team Leader

  • Manage and conduct annual appraisals for individuals within the team
  • Manage and lead HR related matters
  • Release WOs for picking on a daily basis
  • Liaise with production control over shortages or stock discrepancies
  • Support with all stores activities, and communicate team briefs to team members
  • Complete weekly cycle counts and maintain a good stock accuracy level
  • Ensure regular receipt of all goods in and out of bonded stores
  • Pick finished goods and deliver to despatch in line with customer request date
  • Ensure daily stock replenishment, and investigate & correct inventory issues
  • Contribute to new strategies that improve efficiencies, productivity, and reduce costs
  • Execute transfers of product systematically and physically
  • Perform and review data entry
  • Responsible for set-up and layout of inventory materials
  • Lead process improvements regarding policies & procedures
  • Maintain and develop training aspects within the stores team
  • Maintain the safe and healthy work environment by following procedures
