Salary: Up to £30,000 p.a.

Hours of work: Full time, Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 or 07:30-16:30

Can be fully remote, but will need to train in Cambridge for the first 2-3 months, depending on experience

Kameo Recruitment is recruiting for a Commercial Analyst to join our successful and highly reputable client, who is well established within their industry. The key responsibilities of the role include pricing and quoting, and the ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and will be confident interacting with suppliers.

Our client is open to training someone who has a growth mindset and is looking for a new challenge, although strong experience with Excel, some commercial office experience, and a keen interest in the financial/reporting side of business is a must. Duties & Responsibilities of the Commercial Analyst:

  • Manage the production of sales quotations, and work with the operations team to identify correct logistical solutions for quotation requests, pricing this accordingly
  • Communicate with clients as to their requirements
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure correct costs/solutions are procured for quotations
  • Manage pricing and invoicing on shipments
  • Develop pricing methodology and tariff systems to increase ease of use and accessibility to relevant staff
  • Work with Business Systems to ensure systems development process is coordinated with any pricing tool change process to ensure IT systems are using current tariffs
  • Report to management on performance of tariffs in terms of profitability, coverage, and competitor comparisons
  • Deal with customer and website enquiries
