Hours of work: Full time, Monday-Friday 8:30-17:00 

Kameo Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting for a 1st/2nd Line IT Support Technician to join a small, friendly team based in St. Ives.  

The successful candidate must have enthusiasm for all things IT related and excellent communication skills- providing excellent customer service is integral to the role.  

Duties & Responsibilities of the 1st/2nd Line IT Support Technician: 

  • Providing on-site client support including installing/maintaining IT equipment 
  • Hardware repairs of PCs, laptops, and Macs 
  • Providing technical support via telephone  
  • Investigating hardware, software, and malware issues 
  • Maintaining accurate documentation 
  • Installing, configuring, and managing networks 
  • Managing email services on mobile devices and tablets  

Required Experience for the 1st/2nd Line IT Support Technician: 

  • Microsoft based desktop and server operating systems and software 
  • Apple Mac experience 
  • Clean UK driving licence 
  • Working knowledge of networking and firewalls, Group Policy, Exchange Server, Active Directory 
  • Service desk software, RMM 
  • Communication skills 
  • Knowledge of computing principles independent of vendor specific technology 
  • Practical knowledge of a range of hardware
